A webinar was conducted at Rohilkhand Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital (RAMCH), Bareilly, on the topic “Benign and Malignant Lesions of the Female Genital Tract” on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, held on 9th March 2026.
The webinar was hosted by Dr. Sivajothi, Professor and Head, Department of Samhita and Siddhanta. The session was attended by Principal Dr. R. K. Tewari, Medical Superintendent Dr. H. S. Rai, faculty members, and students of RAMCH.
The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Megha Udai, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga (PTSR). The guest speaker, Dr. Anusha, Associate Professor, Department of PTSR, SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, delivered an insightful lecture on benign and malignant tumours of the female genital tract. She explained their types, classification, symptoms, diagnostic approaches, and management, along with the Ayurvedic perspective and treatment modalities for these conditions.
The session was highly informative and helped participants gain a deeper understanding of women’s health issues from both modern and Ayurvedic viewpoints.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Megha Udai, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker, dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their active participation.
